We have a new open position for a Ruby on Rails engineer. The position is full-time, in our office in Louvain-la-Neuve.
Your job will include web development using the Ruby on Rails web framework, and project management using agile methodologies (Scrum). You will be directly in contact with the client to understand their needs and convert them to technical requirements. You will be helped by senior developers (pair-programming) to accelerate your learning curve.
Your profile:
- Master degree in computer science/engineering
- Passion for the Internet and its culture
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Interest in enterprise application development
- Required skills:
- Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails or a similar web development framework
- Good English level (French is a plus)
- Desired skills:
- Good knowledge of RoR, test-driven development and Javascript libraries (jQuery)
- Interest in information architecture
