Professionals working on the web are always looking for the best opportunities to show their work to partners and potential new customers. Up until now, there was the possibility to show screenshots of your websites on so-called “CSS galleries” such as Web Creme or CSS Drive. These famous web portals drive a lot of people to your websites but are often quite impersonal (they center on the work, not on the author).
We have thus imagined a better, more people-centered way. Enter My Web Portfolio, a Facebook application which allows you to list the websites you have worked on (either as a designer, a developer, or simply the owner/customer). The websites can be tagged, a screenshot can be generated automatically if you don’t want to upload it, and we also generate a “top list” of most viewed websites / greatest portfolios.
Your websites are obviously listed in the application itself, but you can also add a “My Websites” tab on your Facebook profile itself. We consider this to be very important for people working on the web as their work makes an important part of their “online profile”. All in all, a great way to advertise and compare your work with your friends.
